Spinal cysts represent a rare cause of spinal cord and nerve root compression.We report a case of sacrum intradural arachnoid cyst presenting with low-back pain radiating down the left leg 20 years after a penetrating injury to the sacral spine. The diagnosis was verified by computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging.The etiological and pathological features are discussed.
